- The European project returns to the leading forum on innovation, science, and technology to present its alternative to conventional fumigants
- The event will take place from Wednesday, March 12 to Friday, March 14 at the Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga (FYCMA)
Brussels, March 3, 2025 – LIFE NextFUMIGREEN, the project developing natural fumigants from plant extracts, will participate in Transfiere 2025, Europe’s leading forum for knowledge transfer in science and technology. The event will bring together more than 500 companies and public organizations to showcase the latest innovations in biotechnology, agribusiness, and sustainability.
At this forum, LIFE NextFUMIGREEN will present its alternative to synthetic fumigants with safer and more effective solutions against pests such as whiteflies and diseases like botrytis in greenhouse vegetable crops.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about this technology at the Finnova stand, where project experts will explain how its application can improve food safety and reduce the environmental impact of intensive agriculture. As a specialist in European funding, Finnova supports the project’s dissemination and its application in other markets.
