The project’s presentation and its visibility at Tecnova’s stand reinforce the reach of this innovative European initiative promoting natural biopesticides.
Almería, 23 May 2025 – The European project LIFE NextFUMIGREEN, focused on the development of natural fumigants derived from plant extracts to combat whitefly and botrytis in greenhouse crops, had a prominent presence at Infoagro Exhibition 2025, held in Almería from 21st to 23rd May.
Tecnova Technological Centre, a project partner, hosted its own stand where the official roll-up was displayed and the project slides were continuously shown on a screen, attracting significant interest from attendees.
One of the event’s highlights was the oral presentation of the project delivered on Thursday 22 May from 14:00 to 15:00 by Blanca Sabarit, Plant Production Technician at Tecnova. After the session, Carlos Ramos, Operations Manager at FumiHogar and project coordinator, stated: “There was great interest and the exhibition was full of people.”

Carolina Martínez Gaitán, Head of Crop Production and Environment at Tecnova, was also present at the stand alongside other project representatives.
The LIFE NextFUMIGREEN project is 60% co-funded by the LIFE Programme of the European Union and has a total budget of €2,758,921.01. Project partners include FumiHogar (coordinator), B&B Asesores, Comercial Química Massó, BrioAgro Tech, Centro Tecnológico Tecnova, and Fundación Finnova.
On the final day of Infoagro Exhibition 2025, Tecnova’s stand remains a key stop for visitors seeking sustainable solutions and agricultural biotechnology.
